This page explains what we do with any personal details you give us through this website. We keep it simple: we only ask for what we need to price and carry out work, and we don't pass it on to anyone else for marketing.
Who we are
DC Hynes Contracts Ltd is the data controller for the information described here.
- Castlecoote, Co. Roscommon, Ireland
- Phone: 087 973 1836
- Email: dchynescontracts@gmail.com

What we collect
The only personal data this website collects is what you type into our quote / contact form:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address (optional)
- The service you're looking for
- The location or site of the job (optional)
- Your message
We don't run advertising or analytics tracking on this site, and we don't build profiles of visitors.
Why we use it
We use these details to reply to your enquiry, price the work, arrange site visits, and carry out any job you go ahead with. That's the only reason we hold them.
Legal basis
Where you contact us about work, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business, and on taking steps at your request before entering a contract. Where you tick a box or otherwise ask to hear from us about anything else, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't turn into work are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted. Where we carry out a job, we keep the related records for up to 7 years to meet Revenue, insurance and accounting obligations.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry is emailed straight to our own inbox. We use the following service providers to make that happen:
- Resend — delivers the enquiry email from our domain to our inbox.
- Google (Gmail) — the inbox the enquiry lands in.
- Lovable / Supabase — hosting and backend infrastructure for the website itself, with servers in the EU.
Where a provider processes data outside the EEA, that transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your data, and we never use it for marketing without your consent.
Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access)
- Have anything wrong corrected (rectification)
- Ask us to delete it (erasure)
- Ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to us using it
- Ask for your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is what we relied on
To exercise any of these, phone 087 973 1836 or email dchynescontracts@gmail.com. We'll come back to you within one month.
